Love is intangible

You can't see love, you can't feel it physically. It is a feeling you feel in your heart. You can feel, think and say all you want, but what people see is your actions. And from your actions, then their brain will conclude that it is love. So, it's okay to go that extra mile for your love ones to let them know that you love them.

With the advancement of technology, We are meeting up less, writing less, talking less on the phone, emailing less (to love ones) etc. All we do now is just a simple whatsapp or facebook message. And this means the increase in distance between every single one of us. We evolved, we learnt how to make our love ones feel love despite over a whatsapp message or facebook wall tag/post. But nothing beats an email, a phone call, meeting up.

Regardless of how busy we are, take periodic break to spend time with your love ones. Can be a few at the same time or one at a time. Show them how much you love them and that you are always there for them. If possible, do something nice for them that will make them happy. And by doing so, you will be happier yourself.

Of course, do say you are tired and you do not have the time to do things. Watch a little less TV, change the frequency of doing something not that important, because your love ones should be one of your top priority. Indirectly leading to your own happiness (which is your top priority). And never never look for praise or appreciation. Just remember, you are doing it for yourself because that is what you wanna do. To make your love ones happy and get the satisfaction and joy from all that.

Although this is out of the norm for our culture in this part of the world, hugging relieves stress, boosts feelings of closeness and even squelches pain. So despite that I might get weird eyes or looks from bystander, I've decided to start a new project. I am going to give at least 5 hugs each day to as many different people as I could. <-- research shows that by doing so, you yourself will be much happier and people whom you hugged, will be happier too! All just by doing a simple gesture.
